WITH teams wrapping up preseason tours, the EPL 2022/2023 season finally gets underway this coming Saturday on August 6th (AEST).
The season kicks off early this year due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
With the new season approaching, the pressure of getting a strong start to the season will be looming over all teams competing.
Will Manchester City retain its crown, or will it be hunted down by its rival, Liverpool?
Last season’s winner, Manchester City comes into the new season looking to win the title for the third time in succession.
Pep Guardiola’s side managed to edge out rival, Liverpool by just one point on the final gameday of the season, creating one of the most entertaining fights for the championship between the two teams.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the Manchester City and Liverpool rivalry plays out this season.
Both teams were clearly the best two in the league last season and arguably the past few seasons.
Will we see another season where both teams are neck-and-neck from start to finish?
We can only hope, as this is what excites spectators and fans around the world.
Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United will aim to close the gap on the big two and challenge at the top of the table throughout the season.
All teams potentially have the skill and capability to pose an ultimate challenge throughout the season, largely due to the talent of their new signings.

IVAN Perisic –An example of one of the bigger signings during the off-season made by Tottenham.
Last season’s winners from the Championship Fulham, alongside the promoted Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest teams, will aim to fight and compete all season in aims to avoid any chance of relegation. Again, new signings have strengthened each team respectively, but it will still be challenging to adjust and adapt quickly to the standard of the Premier League.
I’m looking forward to seeing how these promoted teams challenge the powerhouse teams and contest in aims to avoid relegation or a bad start to the season.
Below are my EPL 2022/2023 Table Predictions.
